How to import products in bulk
SKU must be a unique identifier within the warehouse system of the same customer and is the smallest unit for distinguishing different products.
The OMS supports operations such as adding, discarding, modifying, filtering and viewing products, and printing barcodes. If the overseas warehouse has enabled [Product Review] for the customer account, the products created on the OMS need to wait for review before they can be used to create documents.
Steps: OMS > Product > Draft > Import > Download import template > Fill in product information > Import > Select file > Upload file > Submit
Please note:
- Please do not modify any template content in the imported table, such as deleting or changing the order of the table headers, to avoid affecting data parsing and causing import failure;
- For product images, please use a stable image hosting software to generate image links. The batch upload of images may fail due to the traffic limit of the image hosting server. You can manually upload images on the edit product page in draft status.
- [Unit] Please select Metric or Imperial from the drop-down list, and fill in the size information according to the selected unit;
- [Currency] only supports filling in USD, and [Declared Price] should be converted according to USD;
- The origin code can be found in the table in the [Country or Region Code];
- The number of records imported at a time cannot exceed 5,000.
Frequently asked questions
Q1: When the message "Import processing failed" appears, how can I view the specific reason for the failure?
A1: Click the download button in the upper right corner, and then click “Download failed files” in the task center. Modify the “error reason” in the first column of the failed file and then re-import it. (Direct import of modified failed files is supported)
Q2: When importing a filled form, why is the error message "…cannot be empty" displayed?
A2: ① Please confirm whether the import file type is .xlsx. The system does not support parsing documents in other formats. ② Please confirm that the import file is the latest template downloaded from the system. If the template content is inconsistent, parsing errors may occur and the table content cannot be read.
