How to map products using platform SKUs
If you need to integrate SKU aliases from other platforms, you can choose to use the “Product Mapping” function to quickly match product SKUs on each platform for easy inventory management.
※ Product mapping of Lingxing ERP needs to be completed on the ERP side. Please note:
- Before mapping products, make sure that the corresponding product SKU has been created in OMS and the SKU has been filled in the product information on the e-commerce platform;
- Some e-commerce platforms (such as Shopify) do not require you to fill in the SKU when creating a new product. If the SKU is not filled in on the e-commerce platform, the OMS cannot pull the SKU information when synchronizing the platform order. Even if the product mapping has been completed in OMS, the delivery order cannot be automatically created. Therefore, before mapping the product, please make sure that the product SKU has been filled in on the e-commerce platform;
- The quantity during mapping refers to one platform SKU, which is the number of system SKUs that need to be shipped from the overseas warehouse, not the inventory number .
- If the platform SKU is a combination product, please fill in the specific pairing relationship for the quantity. If it is a combination of multiple SKUs, you can click the plus sign to continue adding/batch selection;
- The product mapping relationship is bound to the store. If multiple stores are authorized, product mapping needs to be re-performed;
- The same store has created a mapping relationship for the platform SKU, and it is not supported to create another mapping relationship repeatedly. If you need to modify it, please delete the created mapping relationship and create it again.
1. Manual creation
1.1 Single platform SKU associated with a single system SKU
Steps: Settings > Product Mapping > Create > Fill in product mapping information > Confirm
The quantity during mapping refers to the number of system SKUs that the seller needs to ship when the buyer places an order to purchase 1 platform SKU, not the inventory number.If the quantity is 1, it means that there is 1 platform SKU in the store order, and the overseas warehouse needs to send out 1 system SKU. If the quantity is 2, it means that there is 1 platform SKU in the store order, and the overseas warehouse needs to send out 2 system SKUs, and so on.
1.2 A single platform SKU is associated with multiple system SKUs
Steps: Settings > Product Mapping > Create > Fill in product mapping information > Click “+” to add multiple system SKUs/batch selections associated with the platform SKU > Confirm
If there are multiple platform SKUs on the platform, the quantity needs to be filled in according to the quantity of each single SKU corresponding to the multiple system SKUs contained in this product.
For example, if the platform SKU is 1 oral care set, and the overseas warehouse needs to send out 2 toothbrushes and 1 toothpaste, the corresponding quantities of toothbrushes and toothpaste should be filled in as 2 and 1 during mapping.
2. Batch import creation
Steps: Settings > Product Mapping > Import > Download import template > Fill in product mapping information and save the file > Import > Select file
2.1 Import template and fill in
a. If the import fails, you can click the download button in the upper right corner to download the failed file, check the cause of the error, and then import it again after modifying it.
Frequently asked questions
Q1: Product mapping has been created, but the platform order synchronization is abnormal, and the message "Platform SKU not found" appears.
A1: Please return to the original e-commerce platform and re-enter the SKU information in the product information editing interface to ensure that the platform SKU filled in on the platform is consistent with the mapping.
Q2: Product mapping has been created, but the platform order synchronization is abnormal, and the message "Platform SKU is not bound to system SKU" is displayed
A2: Please confirm in the [Product Mapping] interface that the created product mapping and the order are for the same platform store. The mapping relationships between different platform stores are not shared. Please create product mappings for all authorized platform stores.
Q3: The quantity filled in during product mapping is incorrect, can it be modified?
A3: It cannot be modified directly. You need to delete the old mapping relationship and create a new one.
