OMS Forecast Transshipment
1. Function Introduction
Transshipment refers to the transshipment or reloading of cargo from the port of loading to the port of unloading or destination, including the act of moving from one means of transport or vessel to another means of transport or vessel of the same mode of transport, or from one mode of transport to another.
2. Operation Instructions
1. Introduction to Transshipment Order
Enter the OMS system, click the forwarding menu on the left, and enter the forwarding page. In order to facilitate the warehouse staff to receive/transfer goods, the seller needs to create a forwarding order in the system, fill in the warehouse to be received, B/LNo, cabinet number, SO/customer/mark, number of boxes, upload attachments, etc. After creating the forwarding order, you can upload new attachments and cancel the forwarding order.
2. Forwarding order status
All: Displays all statuses of forwarding orders.
Draft: When creating a new transfer order, click “Save Draft”. After saving successfully, it will be in draft status. The transfer order in draft status has not been submitted to the warehouse yet, and supports modification, cancellation and other operations.
Waiting for receipt: Click “Submit” when creating a new transfer order, or submit the draft transfer order to the warehouse. After the operation is successful, it will be in the waiting for receipt state. Waiting for receipt means that the warehouse has not received the goods yet, but the transfer order can be queried in the system. At this time, you can upload attachments, cancel, etc.
Received: Indicates that the warehouse has received all the goods.
Partial transshipment: Indicates that the warehouse has completed the transshipment of part of the received goods.
Transshipped: Indicates that the warehouse has completed the transshipment of all received goods.
Cancelled: The transfer order has been cancelled.
3. Create a forwarding order
1) Click the New button on the Transshipment page to enter the New Transshipment page and fill in the corresponding information, including warehouse, B/LNo (bill of lading number), container number, mark, number of boxes, etc.
2) The forwarding list information can include FBA shipment ID, FBA reference number, FBA warehouse code, delivery method, detailed address, etc.
3) After filling in the form, you can save the draft or submit it directly. If you click Save Draft, the forwarding order will be in draft status; if you click Submit, the forwarding order will be submitted directly to WMS and the status will be transferred to Waiting for Receipt.
