How to view inventory in OMS
1. Inventory type description
Inventory Type | Type Description |
Total Inventory | = Available Stock + Locked Stock |
Available Stock | The inventory quantity that customers can use to place orders |
Lock in inventory | The inventory in the [Not shipped out] state that has been associated with the inventory count/outbound order/label change order. Click the inventory quantity to view the associated document number. |
Inventory in transit | For unlisted inventory, click the inventory quantity to view the associated document number |
Cased Stock | [FBA return and relabeling] After relabeling, the packing inventory generated according to the packing details filled in by the warehouse |
Unboxed Stock | Returned stock without replacement label |
2. Inventory conversion
- Product inventory can be used for both [Drop Shipment] and [Stock Transfer Shipment] – “Shipment by Product”, but cannot be converted into other inventory. The SKU quantity in the box inventory is not included in the product inventory.
- Box inventory can only be used for [Stocking Transit Outbound] – “Outbound by Box”. You can also perform [Inventory Conversion] in WMS to convert box inventory to product inventory, and the SKU in the converted box can be adjusted to product inventory.
- Returned inventory can only be used in the [FBA Return] module and cannot be converted into other inventory.
- [One-Piece Drop Shipment], [Stocking Transit Shipment] and [Return Shipment] only support the selection of available inventory with the inventory attribute of “Genuine”. For defective products, you can only operate Warehousing Service – Defective Product Handling – Defective Product Shipment (send the defective products back to the country/other delivery address), Defective Product Destruction (deduct the defective product inventory) and Defective Product Refurbishment (convert the defective products into genuine products).
3. Product Inventory
3.1 Search by product
- This interface allows customers to view the inventory status of their products in all warehouses, and supports searching by warehouse, inventory attribute, inventory quantity, product category, SKU, product name, and other barcodes;
- Inventory type, please refer to the above [Inventory type description];
- Click on the blue SKU to view the [Inventory Flow] on the current interface.
3.2 Inventory flow
- This interface allows you to view the specific document number corresponding to the inventory change;
- The batch is the date of listing, and the remaining total inventory corresponds to the remaining inventory of the same SKU and the same batch number (not the remaining inventory of the SKU);
- The system’s outbound logic is [First In, First Out], so inventory with earlier batch numbers will be outbound first.
4. Box Inventory
[Stock transfer warehousing] Stock the goods by box and generate box inventory, with box type number as the management dimension. (※Note: The inventory packed by the relabeling service does not belong to the box inventory)
4.1 Query by box type
- This interface allows customers to view the box inventory status of all warehouses and understand the packing status of a single box. It supports searching by warehouse, inventory attribute, inventory quantity, box type number, custom box barcode, SKU and other product barcodes.
- Inventory type, please refer to the above [Inventory type description];
- Click the blue box type number to view the [Inventory Flow] on the current interface;
- The SKU quantity in the box will not be counted in the product inventory separately. If you need to transfer the product inventory for drop shipping, please contact the overseas warehouse customer service;
- The size and weight are the data that customers fill in when creating the [Stock Transfer and Warehouse Entry] order. The wms size and wms weight are the measurement data during warehouse operation and entry, and there may be differences. The warehouse rent is charged based on the WMS size information. If you have any objections, please contact the overseas warehouse customer service;
4.2 Inventory flow

- The system’s outbound logic is [First In, First Out], so inventory with earlier batch numbers will be outbound first.
6. Comprehensive Inventory
Displayed in SKU dimensions, it reflects the total inventory of SKUs in different inventory types in different warehouses. Click on the blue inventory number to jump to the viewing interface of the corresponding inventory type and view the inventory status of the SKU search.
(Take the SKU: 0201 of the NJ warehouse in the red box in the above picture as an example)
- Product inventory of SKU in comprehensive inventory = total product inventory
- The box inventory of the SKU in the comprehensive inventory = the total inventory quantity of the box inventory containing the SKU * the number of the SKU in the box
- The return inventory of the SKU in the comprehensive inventory = the total return inventory of the FNSKU bound to the SKU
Frequently asked questions
Q1: Why can't I create an outbound delivery order if the available inventory is not 0?
A1: Available inventory ≥ outbound quantity can create an outbound order. ①Please confirm whether the available inventory of the SKU is genuine inventory. Defective products are not supported for delivery. ②Please confirm whether the available inventory of the SKU is the delivery warehouse selected when creating the outbound order. The inventory between different warehouses is managed separately and cannot be used across warehouses.
Q2: Can the batch number be modified?
A2: The batch number is the product’s shelf date and cannot be modified. If the inventory is generated through warehousing and the associated document is “warehouse entry”, the batch number defaults to the completion date of the shelf. If the inventory is generated by the overseas warehouse staff’s inventory initialization import, and the associated document is “in-warehouse adjustment”, the batch number is the shelf date filled in by the overseas warehouse staff when importing. If you have any questions about the shelf date, you can consult the overseas warehouse staff.
Q3: The status of the incoming order is "on shelf", so why is there still inventory in transit?
A3: If the received quantity of the incoming order is less than the total quantity, that is, the actual quantity arriving at the warehouse is less than the forecast incoming quantity, then the system will include the actual number of SKUs that have not arrived at the warehouse into the in-transit inventory, and this quantity cannot be modified.
